About Viajero Colonia Hostel

El Viajero Colonia is located within the famous 'Historic District' (declared a World Heritage Site by UNESCO) only 600 meters from the Port and the Bus Terminal and very close to the beaches. In a beautiful house of the nineteenth century with all the comforts of the 21st century: bright skylights, high ceilings, wood stove, barbecue & solarium. You can also enjoy our outdoor bar where we serve meals and drinks. The homemade breakfast and bed linen are included, and our kitchen is fully equipped. Other services we offer are: 24-hour hot water, free Internet, cable TV, DVD with a wide variety of movies, laundry service, bicycle rental and horseback riding. Colonia is considered the most beautiful city of Uruguay, thanks to the Historic District and its museums, the Plaza Mayor with its restaurants, its Mother Church (the oldest in Uruguay), its Lighthouse from where you can see all the old city, its beaches, fields and national parks. We are waiting for you to meet the city!
