Positive Reviews
positive:
Great location for airport
If you want to stay just steps away from arrivals and departures at Brussels Airport, this hotel might be a good pick. Reviewers loved accessing the terminal without the fuss of climbing aboard a shuttle bus as is the case with much of the competing accommodation surrounding the airport. Not only was the location perfect for those taking early flights, but also it was easy to reach downtown Brussels in about 15 minutes using express trains from the station underneath the hotel.
positive:
Praise for food and service
On the whole, reviewers were positive about the customer service and friendly, attentive staff. Diners mostly enjoyed the food including the popular breakfast buffet which featured hot and cold options.
positive:
Comfortable and clean with cozy beds
Most reviewers described the rooms as spacious, comfortable and cleaned to a good standard, although there were occasional grumbles about minor cleanliness issues or housekeeping missing the odd thing. The luxury beds with branded mattresses were a hit with many reviewers who reported finding them cozy and comfortable.
Negative Reviews
negative:
Charges for in-room Wi-Fi
Guests disliked being asked to fork out more money in order to access Wi-Fi in their rooms especially considering the widespread availability of free Wi-Fi elsewhere. However, there was free Wi-Fi in public areas together with free Internet on a cluster of computers in the lobby.
negative:
Noise bothered light sleepers
Reviewers said the soundproofed windows in the rooms effectively blocked out most aircraft noise considering the hotel's location within the airport complex. However, noise from adjacent rooms and corridors was audible in some rooms, according to critics who were light sleepers.
negative:
Claims of some dated features
There was some criticism from reviewers of outdated fixtures and fittings or occasionally tired furnishings in the rooms.
