This temple lodging in Mt. Koya is surrounded by five unique gardens in the center of peaceful woodlands. Guests can taste Shojin dishes (traditional vegetable meals usually eaten by Buddhist monks) prepared with the utmost attention to detail.From Namba Station (Subway Midosuji Line): Take the Nankai Koya Line train bound for Koyasan and get off at Gokurakubashi Station (about 90 minutes). Then take the Nankai Koya Line cable car bound for Koyasan and get off at Koyasan Station (about 5 minutes). Finally take the bus bound for Okunoin-mae or Daimon and get off at Koya Keisatsu-mae (about 10 minutes). About 3 minutes on foot from there.By car: Exit the Hanwa Expressway at Mihara-kita IC and continue along Routes 309, 170 and 371 for about 90 minutes (50 km), then Routes 370 and 480 for about 60 minutes (30 km). Head into town and head towards Koyasan Iriguchi Daimon for about 8 minutes.
