positive:
Interesting location
If you venture out of the resort to explore the area, you'll find there is plenty to see and do. The obvious appeal for younger guests is the nearby Busch Gardens, but there are fascinating historical attractions, great shops and restaurants, and gorgeous green spaces to explore too.
Negative Reviews
negative:
Timeshare pressure
Guests should be aware that the Wyndham Gettysburg is a timeshare property. A number of guests felt pressurised by the sales staff, describing how they were approached early on in their trip, sometimes before they had even been allowed to check-in. Those who did agree to attend a sale presentation often found themselves stuck there for over six hours.
negative:
Crowded resort and facilities
Numerous guests mention that the resort is fairly crowded and as such, you can expect a fair amount of noise from children. Also, you may find that the facilities and amenities are crammed with people, so your break may not be quite as relaxing as you had anticipated.
negative:
Attention required in certain areas
Overall, the opinion of the Wyndham Gettysburg is good but there do appear to be some areas where the resort could improve. Reported problems include broken games machines in the arcade area, no daily housekeeping service, low water pressure, and an occasional lack of hot water.
