Positive Reviews
positive:
Reasonably close to the Old City
Guests liked that they were pretty close to the Old City. It was said to be a long walk or short light rail trip away. In any event, they definitely didn’t think they were stuck out in the middle of nowhere far from the sights. These were all around them.
positive:
Friendly and helpful staff
Again and again guests would report how friendly and helpful the staff were. Of course most English speaking guests were not Israelis, and definitely had lots of questions, and even some concerns, about the city. Guests mentioned that the staff were very helpful in answering the question and putting their minds at ease.
positive:
Excellent breakfast
Many guests could barely stop talking about the breakfast. It was described as an “Israeli Breakfast” and was said to be varied, tasty and served in wonderful surrounds.
Negative Reviews
negative:
Poor internet
Many guests felt that the hotel’s Wi-Fi wasn’t up to scratch. While it was said to be unreliable, with guests being unable to log in at all at times, the main problem seemed to be that it would automatically log guests out after a certain period of inactivity, requiring a lengthy manual procedure to log back in.
negative:
Problems with the telephone system
The hotel offers a special deal that a wide variety of calls, even to international numbers, are free. Several guests experienced problems actually using this system and found the frustration of trying to get it to actually work was not worth the amount saved on any calls.
negative:
Expensive parking
A couple of guests who needed onsite parking found it to be quite expensive. They felt that they were being taken advantage of as hotel guests.
