There are plenty of places to eat in the locality. The hotel is quietly located off the highway, so many rooms don't suffer unduly as the result of traffic noise. There's a popular baseball field nearby, but no real noise problem from this.
The hotel is very difficult to find and is identifiable only via a very, very small sign from the Highway. Not the best start.
The telephone doesn't function, so no contact with front-desk. Blackouts are ineffective, the tub drains very slowly (*drainage problem) and the bed is uncomfortable. Rooms are generally clean and so is linen, etc. The laundry process could be improved, though; it doesn't seem to be a very thorough process.
Non-flushing toilets add to existing concerns about the plumbing generally. Maybe this is the reason why the room is decidedly damp. Nothing is disastrous here but these minor faults add up and you begin to wonder about the value for money. It's tempting to cast an eye in the direction of the much cheaper Hotel 6, just across the parking lot.
