Basic, No Frills Lodging
Low cost, pet-friendly accommodations with a simple, free continental breakfast and lovely roses growing outside. Excellent value for the budget traveler's wallet. Good proximity to all sorts of attractions, fifteen minutes from central Sacramento and easy access to plenty of restaurants, many within less than a mile. Please do note: this should most likely NOT be considered a family-friendly location.

Lock Your Car & Set The Alarm
Many guests have noted the premises here are frequented by a somewhat "shadier" clientele than most would prefer.

Don't Let The Bed Bugs Bite
Some purchased their own sheets and towels to use during their stay after checking in and observing what appeared to be bed bugs in their room. Others had itchy bites all over their skin when they awoke.

BYO Cleaning Supplies
The rooms are often unclean, with some guests entering to find beds unmade and garbage strewn about the room. Grease marks stain the linens, cigarette holes dot the threadbare carpeting, blood stains (apparently) streak the curtains and the towels are filthy. Some guests found their coffee makers without the carafe and asked staff about it, only to be advised to "hold their paper cup under it" where the carafe would otherwise go (HINT: Go out for coffee). The peep holes on the doors are just actual holes - you could look in as well as out. Knobs for the shower/bath are quite poorly-fitted and require a sturdy tug to operate. Don''t forget your shower shoes! "Non-smoking" rooms usually reek of smoke (of various kinds) upon entry.
