Good value for money
The rooms are a decent size, clean, comfortable and the rooms at the back of the building in particular are nice and quiet. The rooms are clean and presentable and the Wi-Fi is fast and reliable. Many guests also complimented the hotel on the Irish breakfast offered.

Attractions such as the James Joyce Cultural Centre, the Garden of Remembrance and the Dublin Writers Museum are all within a 5-minute walk. The staff are friendly and always ready to provide assistance with a smile.
Negative Reviews
negative:
Cleanliness needs attention.
The rooms were not always cleaned thoroughly or to a high standard. Following check-in, guests reported that the surfaces of the rooms were dusty and the floors still dirty. The bathroom area appeared as if it had not been properly cleaned, and some rooms had smudged walls. The furnishings were also reported to be dated, in a less than pristine state and in need of replacement.
negative:
Poor customer service.
Despite positive reviews, many other guests had negative customer service experiences. Staff were reportedly abrupt, unwelcoming and at times unaccommodating. When complaints were made about the poor cleanliness of the room, some staff seemed unconcerned and unsympathetic.
negative:
Paper thin walls.
The hotel is set in an old Georgian building which is not equipped with soundproofing. The walls are thin and it is not uncommon for guests to hear noises from neighbouring guests including conversation, laughing and snoring, as well as the creaking of old floor boards.
