Positive Reviews
positive:
Helpful staff.
Not only did guests get a warm greeting from staff, they were also efficiently assisted with travel plans and ticket booking. Guests found that front desk personnel were more than happy to help with questions about transportation and the local area.
positive:
A stunning backdrop.
Guests could have stared at the view all day. Overlooking the spectacular Gulf of Naples, some felt that the amazing view was worth the price of a room on its own. Guests couldn't say enough complimentary things about the romantic, glorious vantage point that the hotel provided.
positive:
Parking plus.
A safe and secured, well-lit parking lot was a big bonus for guests with a car. After all of the walking to see the sights, guests said that it was nice to be able to access their vehicle directly on the property.
Negative Reviews
negative:
Basic accommodation.
Guests described rooms as simple and no-frills, which proved to be somewhat of a let-down to many. Rooms were sparsely decorated, and many guests felt that dated decor was in need of modernising. To discourage guests even further, some categorised rooms as small, often with a musty smell.
negative:
Lots of walking.
After a long day on their feet, the last thing some guests wanted to do was make the uphill climb to their room. While fit guests felt that the hillside location wasn't a problem, others would have preferred a hotel that was easier to access.
negative:
Upgrades in order.
Mattresses, bed lines, and towels should have been at the top of the list for replacement, according to guests who were unhappy with certain amenities. Guests experienced varying levels of discomfort due to these older items.
