Hotel San Luca (Spoleto, Italy)

The 4-star family-run Hotel San Luca in Spoleto is a lovely small hotel rich because of its warm and familiar atmosphere. The hall, with its armchair around antique fireplace and its antique furniture, contributes to welcome guests and to make them feel like home: the nice birds in the old cage and the important terrine's collection are a part of it. Spacious, coloured, soundproof bedrooms are impeccably clean and comfortable. The beds are 2 meters large, the bathrooms are spacious, all in Carrara marble with towel-warmers and anti-fogging mirrors. The hotel has 35 rooms, between Classic, Comfort and Superior, facing the beautiful courtyard or the garden or part of the town. Some of the Comfort and Superior rooms may have a balcony or a terrace or a view. The rich buffet breakfast, with home made cakes and savoury as well as local products, is served in a trompe-l'oeil painted room or in the good season in the beautiful courtyard, between olive trees, jasmine and flowers.
