Bar Bootel Ahoi offers the opportunity of staying in a hotel boat in the heart of Kortrijk, only about 30 minutes' drive from Lille, Ypres, Tournai, Bruges and Ghent. The former cargo boat is located in the centre of Kortrijk on the River Lys 500 m from the Grand Place, 700 m from the Broel Towers, about 1 km from the railway station and 3 km from Kortrijk Expo. Below-deck there are 9 cabins, on the upper deck located is the dining room and bar with a beautiful view of the river. The bar with over 40 Belgian beers is open daily from 16:00 (except on Sundays in the winter months). Breakfast, brunch and dinner (a Belgian dish, pizza and pasta) can be ordered upon check-in or by email at info@ahoi.be. The upper deck is also used as a terrace during good weather. There is a reception with limited opening hours from 16:00 till 22:00. Public parking for a fee is widely available at the Bootel, but is free from 18:00 till 09:00 and during Sundays and public holidays. 1-hour-free-parking-tickets are available at the parking meter. New: covered bicycle parking place at the back of the boat. Power boat rental possible starting at € 79 / 2 hours.
