Hotel Panorama Olbia is a four-star hotel just 20m from Olbia's main shopping streets and 50m from the tree-lined promenade. Renovated in 2009, it has been sympathetically refurbished in a modern, yet classic, style. Excellent facilitiesMost guests enjoy the location of the hotel- close to the port, walking distance to restaurants, bars and shops, and just a ten- to fifteen-minute bus ride from the white sands and crystal-clear seas of nearby beaches. For onward travel, the airport bus stops just 100m from the hotel entrance.
Facilities at the hotel are vast; the spa area and gym are excellent and guests love the rooftop terrace with stunning views. There is even a phone located on the roof for guests to place orders for drinks. Parking is free too, if you have you own, or a hire car, with you.
Many guests leave feeling like they have been treated as family. Welcomed from the start, every member of staff is smiling and happy and delighted to assist guests with anything they may need. Need dinner reservations? Advice on places to visit? No problem. You only need ask.
One missing amenity guests would like to see are tea and coffee making facilities in the room. Bar this, most find rooms well-equipped.
While all rooms were subject to renovation, along with the rest of the hotel, in 2009, and are of a similar standard, you still need to select carefully. Guests finding themselves located above the restaurant have experienced noise disturbance from breakfast service so, unless you are an early riser, these rooms are best avoided.
Several guests have commented that the Wi-Fi at the hotel can be intermittent. While some have experienced strong connections, others have had trouble accessing it all. It seems to vary according to location within the hotel so, while inconvenient, you should be able to get online somewhere in the building.
