Positive Reviews
positive:
Location offers the best of both worlds
Tucked away in a quiet little residential enclave yet still an easy walk away from both the centre of town and Aker Brygge (one of Oslo's most happening districts); this hotel strikes the perfect balance between being a quiet retreat and a handy base for enjoying city life. Many guests also loved having the Ruseløkka tram stop so close by.

Organic breakfasts really hit the spot
The vast majority of guests who've stayed at this hotel have raved about the delicious organic breakfasts that are served up here for free. Loaves of bread served fresh out of the oven are a perennial highlight.

Personable staff members make so much effort
In addition to speaking perfect English and affording a genuinely warm welcome, guests loved the fact that the ever-so-friendly personnel are always happy to go out of their way to ensure your expectations are fully realised.
Negative Reviews
negative:
Standard guest rooms are pretty small
A significant number of guests have been unimpressed by the amount of space they had to play with in their rooms. Indeed, some visitors said they had to push their suitcases under the bed just so that they could walk to the bathroom.
negative:
Noise can be an issue
Numerous travellers have noted that, as well as noise from the street, the lacklustre soundproofing here makes it far too easy to hear your neighbours talking and moving around.
negative:
Restaurant closes for the summer
Visitors who arrived in the summer months were less-than-thrilled to discover the on-site restaurant effectively shuts down for a couple of months during that time. Happily, there are plenty of other eateries close by; including a cute little Korean place (‘Gangnam Korean') just three minutes' walk away.
