Positive Reviews
positive:
Stunning design hotel.
The hotel is set in an imposing, ultra modern building; purpose built to offer accommodation. Facilities are new and the wellness area is well-equipped and, like most parts of the hotel, once inside, it is easy to forget you are just feet from a busy highway.
positive:
Quiet, minimalist rooms.
Despite its main road location, rooms at NH Madrid Las Tablas are well soundproofed and occupants shouldn't be affected by noise. The minimalist design may not be to everyone's tastes, but the cleanliness and comfort of the beds likely will be.
positive:
Convenient for Las Tablas neighbourhood.
NH Madrid Las Tablas is highly convenient if you are visiting, or working in, the Las Tablas area of Madrid. There are shuttle buses at certain times, although some prefer the walk. The nearest Metro station is a few minutes walk away if you are journeying further afield.
Negative Reviews
negative:
Several impractical features.
You may find some of the design features within the hotel to be impractical; there is little in the way of storage for luggage and the transparent design screen which separates the bathroom from the bedroom allows light through; not conducive to a great nights sleep. The number one bugbear? The beds on wheels which shift with every slight movement.
negative:
Poor Wi-Fi.
Considering a high proportion of guests at the hotel are business travellers, it is surprising that the Wi-Fi is not up to par. Guests report being unable to connect at all, experiencing slow connection speeds, or being asked to re-enter their passwords numerous times.
negative:
Communication issues.
If your Spanish is rusty you may wish to polish up beforehand as, bar the reception team, few staff elsewhere speak English, which makes ordering in the restaurant a tedious exercise.
