The 4-star Mäster Johan is a premier modern hotel in the heart of Malmö. It aims to be an oasis among the demands and obligations of everyday life. The hotel was completed in 1990, and over the years the building has been carefully refurbished to maintain the modern classic feel. Today the hotel has four floors with 69 rooms, and uses natural materials throughout: stone, wood, metal, concrete and glass. The basement sauna complex has exercise and relaxation rooms, and still retains part of a wall from “Herr Axels Badstuga”, a sauna dating from the 15th century.
