Hotel Las Cuevas Beach Lodge (Trinidad, Cuba)

Set in a commanding position, with views over the Caribbean, Hotel Las Cuevas is a motel style property offering comfortable air conditioned accommodation. The rooms are situated in a series of duplex bungalows on the hill and have been recently renovated. While somewhat plain, they do feature modern convenience such as satellite TV’s. Guests typically spend the daytimes relaxing by the pool, either on a sun bed or by the pool bar. At night, the highlight is the cabaret, which happens some time after dinner. While it doesn’t have Wi-Fi, the hotel does have a guest computer that is hooked up to the internet. The buffet restaurant is housed in the main building. It serves Cuban cuisine and has occasional musical troupes to entertain. The hotel’s nightclub s situated in the “cuevas” (caves) that give the hotel its name. The town of Trinidad is just a few hundred yards down the hill.
