Positive Reviews
positive:
Happy Hour!
Guests love the nightly happy hour (actually, 2.5 hours!), which purveys delicious cocktails and small but sumptuous snacks. With such delectable offerings as cold cuts with cheeses, fresh veg with dips and cookies for the sweet-toothed, reviewers rave about the free finger food and wide range of drinks.
positive:
Superb Shuttles
While staff from across all departments are regularly singled out for praise, shuttle drivers are thanked time and again for the service they provide and the attitude they display. Smiling, informative and ever-reliable, guests recommend booking early as the service can fill up at busy times.
positive:
Immaculately Kept
An outstanding team of housekeepers works ceaselessly to ensure your stay is completely comfortable and carefree. Bedrooms and bathrooms are immaculate, towels and sheets are changed daily and kitchen appliances are as new. The 5-star ethos extends throughout all common areas, including lifts and corridors.
Negative Reviews
negative:
Noisy Neighbors
While the majority of guests enjoy a wonderful rest, some have their sleep disturbed by noise. Thin walls mean that TVs and conversations from adjoining rooms and corridors are annoyingly audible. The hotel's after 9 “Quiet Time” policy isn't always as strictly enforced as some reviewers would like.
negative:
Small, Outdated Gym
One of very few complaints comes from health-conscious travelers who would like to see some attention given to the fitness center. The area is small, with space only for one person at a time to use free weights, while the equipment itself is in dire need of updating.
negative:
Nowhere to Eat
Reviewers routinely request the addition of a restaurant. The lack of an in-house eating option is seen as a major disadvantage, one exacerbated by the lack of other dining options in the vicinity. Microwaveable dinners are available, or a shuttle will transfer you to a nearby eatery.
