Just a two minute walk from Exeter St. David’s train station and a 15 minute walk from the coach and bus station, this hotel’s location can’t be beat. In addition, you are within walking distance of lots of local attractions, historic sites and eateries.

From the moment you check in, the staff is friendly, warm and happy to accommodate most any request. They can steer you in the direction of places to dine and local sites as well.

It’s nice not to have to think of a place to eat breakfast, let alone pay for it. The full English breakfast is good and plentiful at Great Western, giving you a good start to the day.

The rooms are on the small side.
Some of the rooms at Great Western are a bit on the small side, so if you’re travelling with more than one person or need room to maneuver, ask for a more spacious room at check in.

This hotel doesn’t have a lift which can be problematic if you have low mobility, lots of luggage or small children in tow. In addition, the stairs are rather steep and narrow.
