Hotel Empress Zoe (Istanbul, Turkey)

The Empress Zoe hotel is located in the Sultanahmet area of Istanbul and most of the main points of interest of the old town are within easy walking distance. The hotel, named after the only woman who ever reigned over Byzantium, is a collection of traditional townhouses which surround a private archaeological garden, directly next to the ruins of a 15th century hamam. There is a variety of room categories, from budget rooms to standard single and double rooms, suites and a maisonette. All of the rooms are uniquely styled, non-smoking and breakfast is included in the price and served in the garden during the warm months. Standard amenities include private en suite with shower and hair dryer, air condition, central heating, phone, fridge, room safe and telephone. TV's are only available in the suites.
