Although there are some issues with the rooms (namely, they are a little dated with small bathrooms), previous guests have tended to find the accommodation at this Edinburgh B&B clean and reasonably comfortable.

Guests have had one or two dubious experiences with the management here but have found the day-to-day staff is friendly and welcoming. Guests mention that the staff is happy to help with local area information and dining recommendations and is quick to ensure that guests have everything they need.

The location of this B&B has suited the majority of previous guests. The property is often found to be within walking distance of the city centre and, for those who perhaps aren’t so nimble, there are public transport routes nearby.

Guests have found the Wi-Fi here rather slow and patchy. The owner’s response is that the B&B is in a listed building with thick concrete floors/ceilings, hence, it is difficult to install the correct equipment to ensure a top quality service. It doesn’t sound like this is a problem which will be solved soon.

Although guests tend to enjoy breakfast here, the fact that you have to pre-order what you want the night before hasn’t suited everyone. There is little room for spontaneity here.

The extra cost for parking hasn’t gone down too well with previous guests, with many feeling it should be included. Also, the number of spaces is limited so if you haven’t called to book a space in advance, you may end up disappointed.
