Positive Reviews
positive:
Edinburgh by bus or foot.
Guests have found the location to be fantastic for city exploration with a handy bus stop right outside, great shops and restaurants all around (and good pizza next door) and attractions like the Royal Mile and Edinburgh Castle an easy walk away.
positive:
Very accommodating staff.
You will find the staff, and particularly the manager, to be terrifically helpful and great for tips about exploring Edinburgh.
positive:
Clean with decent kitchen facilities.
The full apartment facilities were found to be clean and comfortable, and people thought the kitchens were handy for those wanting to run by their own schedule and cook whenever suited, with supermarkets nearby to stock up on ingredients.
Negative Reviews
negative:
Fire engine siren disruption.
Edinburgh Central happens to be close to a fire station, so a few guests have noted night-time disruption from the sirens of the fire engines.
negative:
Some stairs for apartments.
The apartments have to be accessed through some fairly steep stairs, so Edinburgh Central is not suitable for those with restricted movement or lots of luggage.
negative:
Furniture could use updating.
While guests still found the apartments to be comfortable, they were not considered to be the most modern and some people thought the furniture in particular could do with updating.
