positive:
A fine location.
The hotel is well placed. It is a nice walk along the side of the river into the middle of the city, where there is a good mix of attractions and useful amenities. While convenient for the middle of York, the property is also far enough away from the hustle and bustle to make it peaceful and relaxing.
positive:
Immaculately presented.
Guestrooms at this hotel are comfortable and spacious. They are spotlessly clean as well. What's more, the building is nicely quiet, despite being near a busy road.
Negative Reviews
negative:
A bit hard.
Some of the mattresses at Midway House are a touch on the firm size and they aren't especially big either.
negative:
It can be quite tight.
This property has its own car park, but things can be a little cramped during busy times. If you have a large vehicle, it might be something of a struggle to get in and out.
negative:
Internet problems.
The Wi-Fi has an annoying tendency to drop out at regular intervals. Sometimes the connectivity is great and then, the next moment, it is gone completely. This soon gets incredibly frustrating, especially if you need to go online for any length of time.
