The owners are great. Very welcoming and helpful. Rooms are also nice, clean and cheerful. Very spacious and they include everything you need. Villa accommodation is even better with guests saying that it had all the facilities needed for disabled friends/ family members. Everything appears to be sparkling new, making this place a good cut above your average motel.
There are plenty of shops and restaurants nearby. Owners will happily assist with advice on shopping and self-catering supplies ... and it's an easy walk into town.
The owners' recommendation of Al Forno for a takeaway meal was spot on. What a great relief it is to park the car right outside your own room. That relief is equalled by the pleasure of seeing that there's also a Rise Up Bakery nearby!
Some rooms don't have a view and for security, you need to close the window. Still great value though.
Foxtel is not included and couldn't see any extra pillows to sit up and watch TV. There is only limited storage to put bags, suitcases etc. The shower pressure is unreliable and there don't appear to be any smoke detectors in the building.
It's great having the car parked directly outside. Pity that there's no shade though in this intense heat. Also, the downside of having cars parking directly outside is that you can hear others coming and going at all times of the day and night.
