Some quarters have bunk beds. Air-conditioning comes as standard. Tourist advice and luggage storage services are proffered at the 24-hour reception desk. Laundry services (at a fee) are also available. Vending machines are the only on-site food option at this hotel. Numerous dining (and drinking) options are located very close by, including a convivial Chinese restaurant with a terrace right next door. A great many visitors appreciated this hotel's location, set as it is in a lively yet charming neighbourhood with lots of restaurants, food centres, markets and shops. Some guests thought that the Novena metro station was a little far to walk (17 minutes), but this was mitigated largely by the fact so many city-bound buses stop right outside the property.

The bathrooms within the accommodations don't have any kind of cubicle or enclosure to keep the water from going everywhere. Needless to say, most guests didn't like this as it leaves the floor persistently wet and makes the door lock rusty.
