Amazing getaway.

loved the cabin, the setting, the dock, and the deck! Spent the weekend there with 2 buddies to raft and relax. very quiet and peaceful. Kitchen well appointed and had everything we needed. Family room very comfortable. Enjoyed the kayaks on the lake and just 10 minutes from the NOC outpost. Would definitely rent here again!

Wonderful getaway in the woods backing up to the lake and short drive to NOC

We absolutely loved our stay here at Mountain Rest. It was our 10yr Anniversary and we decided to bring our daughter and enjoy time by the lake. The pictures do not do this home justice. The craftsmanship and attention to detail this home has really shows when your there. They have everything you need there. Fishing gear, floats, canoes, kayaks, paddle boat, towels, books, games, firewood, firepit. You name it they have it. Just bring your food and clothes! The lake itself is very quiet and peaceful. We didn't have much luck catching large fish right off of the pier but our daughter sure had fun with the little guys and trying. They also have a slide that you can use which was fun for our daughter. The water is about 5/6ft deep right off of the pier. We enjoyed dinners on the expansive deck every night. Loved watching the humming birds and other birds eat and fly around. The sights and sounds of nature were absolutely wonderful and added to my enjoyment. This home is so very CLEAN which is comforting and allowed us to feel right at home and comfortable. Plates, dishes, all are provided. Very quaint and mountain like feel We explored Stumphouse Tunnel, Hiked the Issaqueena falls, visited the local fish hatchery, had dinner at Paisanos, toured the Chattooga Distillery and Vineyard, drove to ziplining in North Carolina ( only 40min drive) passed through Georgia on our way and was in all with the scenery around us. Such beautiful mountain sides, lakes, valleys, wildlife.... pictures are a must! Had amazing BBQ in Georgia on Main St. It really was a fun, relaxing, and adventurous vacation. If your looking for a mix of fun and quiet. This is a great spot. The owners even went as far as to have an anniversary card waiting for us upon arrival! We appreciate the opportunity to stay here. Such a memorable, fun and relaxing family vacation!

The living room and dining room furniture are worn out and need to be updated. The closets and drawers were full of the owners things. We were not able to unpack our suitcase for the week. It was weird staying there with pictures of the owners family all over the cabin. The bathroom was nicely renovated. Loved the gas fireplace.

Great place on Lake Becky. Lots of room, quite place with everything you would want.Modern with just about everything avaiable

Great Total Solar Eclipse expedition

Unfortunately pictures don't do justice. Place has much and much more to offer!!! This is ideal get away in very upscale cabin with all kind of activities around. I would highly recommend it to anyone looking to spend few days enjoying peace and quiet with your loved ones right on the lake, few minutes away from water rafting adventures, short drive to waterfalls, fishing and lots more!

One of the best places we ever stayed!!!!

It was perfect. The cabin, every room, even the view from the covered deck looked just like the pictures shown on the VRBO. My daughter, grand daughter and I had a wonderful time. It was peaceful, quite and just what we needed for a 3 day weekend. Lots of room, nice big bathrooms and bedrooms. We will be coming back.
