This really was a great place to stay. There were 3 adults, two young children and more than enough room. A bin of toys were waiting for the kids and an incredible house in the country waiting for all of us. Kathryn was very accessible, accommodating and supportive with anything that came up. And than being said, nothing really came up. This farm house is 150 some odd years old and she has spared no expense in its care and updating. In the heat of august the 2 foot thick stone walls and supplied fans kept us nice and cool while the patio area and bbq made for an incredible place to eat in the great outdoors.Rest assured, we didn’t lose any modern amenities in the old house. The water, although from a well, is properly filtered the appliances new and up to date with a gas range and electric oven (as it should be). The internet, although not blazing, is adequate for surfing and streaming needs and the television supplied has Netflix ready to go. We brought our own streaming device and it connected effortlessly.Lastly, the ambiance in the house is incredible. Kathryn has ridden the fine line of old world charm with modern day necessity flawlessly. I can’t think of anything we were lacking for the entire 2 week stay. Would recommend to almost anyone. (Only caveat the stairs can be A little steep for small children but we were made well aware of this before we arrived and it was not an issue during our stay)Thanks for everything.

Pretty much perfect

Beautiful farmhouse in the country. If you want quiet, interrupted by the sound of birds and wind in the trees, this is the place. Surprising amount of easy touring to do in the region too. Explore the nearby towns. Sample all the butter tarts.
