The village is ideally situated to visit Brantôme (Périgord venice), Périgueux, the Cave of Tourtoirac, the castle of Hautefort. 3/4 hour drive of Black Perigord you will be visiting Lascaux, Sarlat and the golden triangle of the Dordogne River. The wines of Bergerac and Saint Emilion are less than an hour away. The village is on the banks of the Isle on which the canoe is possible (rentals nearby). Many start hiking, mountain biking and horse riding from the village.
