Positive Reviews
positive:
Sun, sea and town
For the vast majority of guests, this hotel struck a good balance between a chilled-out beach break and a livelier town atmosphere. For those who couldn't bear to go further afield, the nearest beach was only a few hundred feet away, but there are of course half a dozen from which to choose in the surrounding area. Once the sun went down, visitors were pleased to find that the nightlife of Cala Ratjada was also close to hand.
positive:
Nice pool area
In addition to the nearby beaches, this property boasts a well-tended pool area. Sun loungers may be scarce at other hotels, but certainly not here.
positive:
Nice on-site restaurant
It doesn't seem to be openly advertised, but this hotel does have an on-site restaurant. Breakfast is good, if run-of-the-mill, but a number of guests were especially pleased at the quality and quantity of the evening options here.
Negative Reviews
negative:
Thin walls
While many visitors reported solid stays at this property, there are quite a few niggles to report. First and foremost, the walls here are very thin and many guests were unhappy to find that noise filtered in their rooms from above and below as well as from neighbouring rooms.
negative:
A struggle to find Anglophone staff
While the reception and restaurant teams at this resort are friendly, it seems that English-speaking staff is very hard to find here. With requests and even simple questions left unanswered, some Anglophone guests were left feeling frustrated by the language barrier.
negative:
Inadequate gym
This hotel does feature an on-site gym, but a number of guests reported that the equipment here was outdated and worn. Additionally, some found that this part of the hotel was without air conditioning, making exercising in the height of summer very uncomfortable.
