Much to guests' amazement, this property's proprietors - a husband and wife team - are incredibly hands-on, meeting and greeting visitors and always happy to chat. It appears that they will do anything to assist their guests, who are keen to return to this little property stay after stay, year after year.
The housekeeping standards here are top-notch. Not only are rooms and public areas pristine, but guests at this property really appreciated the frequent linen and towel changes, an amenity that isn't often seen at hotels of this size. And speaking of size, guests here were also pleased by their spacious accommodation, with many impressed by their roomy digs.
The food at this hotel also comes highly commended. While the breakfast buffet has received many kudos, others were very impressed by the solid snack bar options and especially the homemade bread. For those who wanted something outside of the complex, Michaelos appears to be the local taverna of choice.
Many loved them, but some found the local roosters - quite a few of which live near the property - to be very noisy throughout the night and especially early in the morning.
This hotel's bathrooms are really more like wet rooms. Bearing this layout in mind, many found that their clothing and towels were fair game for soaking, especially given the lack of shower curtains here.
Guests really enjoyed the quiet, peaceful atmosphere at this hotel. But for some, at 15 to 20 minutes, the walk to the local beach and into town was just a bit too long.
