If you want to get-away and just hang out in your accommodation, this place will fit the bill as it has everything you need as far as a kitchen, pans for cooking, dishes, and stove. There are also restaurants not too far away, or you can go outside on the small deck and relax.
If you get accommodations overlooking the bay or a view of the nice shrubbery you will feel like you are on a tropical vacation on some other continent. You will certainly have that "away from home" feeling especially because of the layout of the space. It's more like a condo than a hotel room.
The reception may tend to ignore you as they speak in another language that you may or may not understand. It's common courtesy not to engage in personal small talk when visitors are waiting for assistance. Oh, the housekeeping speaks no English so you are bound to have communication problems if you need to request something like "do not disturb.".
The suites/apartments are more for people staying a few days or more. It's not for a quick stop unless you just want to pay the money. The apartments appear a bit dated with a musty odor as well. You may find ants all over the place and dead cockroaches at the front desk along with worn carpet, grimy furniture, and all that type of stuff. The place really needs an update but supposedly they are working on it.
The hotel has large parties over the weekend. It gets so bad sometimes that the cops have to come and quiet things down. So, if you are coming for peace and quiet, don't book the hotel on the weekend.
