Casa rural Tourist Farm Šenkova Domačija (Jezersko, Slovenia)

Šenk homestead is the pearl of the Alpine architecture and typical nucleated rural settlement of the area. Here we find eight buildings; all roofed with wooden roofing in a layout designed more than 500 years ago. Original buildings and architectural style have been preserved and the main house of the homestead is today protected under the national cultural heritage scheme. We are aware of its great value, and for the love of our ancestors we are going to protect it for the next generations and are happy to share its history with you today. We offer two luxuriously equipped apartments, for 4 persons each, on the first floor of our new built house Preužitkarica. Each of the apartments has one sleeping room with two separated beds and one bigger room with double sofa-bed and fully equipped kitchen. The apartment has a satellite TV receiver and free internet connection. There is space for 20 tents in the campsite situated on the meadow under the old ash trees with view of the mountains. On the inner yard we welcome up to 10 campers. Campsite includes facilities such as spring water basin, toilets and hot showers, small kitchen, tables with wooden benches and common campfire place.
