Wooden Cabbage is a comfortable Bed and Breakfast Country House with three bedrooms close to Dorchester, Bridport and Sherborne. Warm welcome and very helpful owners. Magical views, and very peaceful location, overlooking Dorset farmlands. Pretty bedrooms with crisp white linens, antique furniture, comfortable armchairs; and bathrooms with good hot water and power showers. The double bedrooms also have bath tubs. Feather and down duvets and pillows, and non-allergenic duvets and pillows in the twin bedroom. The tea trays also offer coffee and hot chocolate and biscuits. Bottled water is supplied and a chocolate mint each evening. Excellent breakfasts are served in our Garden Room, with home made granola and jams, fruits from the garden and local eggs, bacon and sausages. Vegetarian options are available, and a wide selection of teas and coffee. On arrival you will be served tea and shortbread in the thatched gazebo in the garden, or in the garden room if wet or cool. There are beautiful gardens and houses to visit in the area, the coastal paths and beaches are just half an hour drive, and market towns of Sherborne, Dorchester and Bridport with their lovely markets. Good local walks.
