Positive Reviews
positive:
Elegant, relaxing charm.
Much thought has gone into the restoration of this property which now exudes, not just the charm of days gone by, but the warmest of welcomes and an atmosphere of complete relaxation. There's no lift, of course, but stairs are wide, carpeted and with a handrail, very easy to ascend. It's easy to believe that this B&B has been voted the best in Nova Scotia!
positive:
It all comes down to the owners.
Throughout the building, the friendly owners' attention to detail and undoubted love of their property translate into the perfect stay for guests. Add to this pot, their impressive artistry and genuine bonhomie - and the scene is set for a visit you'll remember for a long time to come. There is certainly no shortage of advice on places to visit in order to ensure that you enjoy your stay to the maximum advantage.
positive:
Fine food in a fine B&B.
In keeping with the extremely high standards throughout, it comes as no surprise to find that breakfast is simply superb. Beautifully presented and with portions that are more than generous ... many guests skip lunch and just opt for dinner at a local restaurant! In the evening, that glass of sherry is a nice touch and weather permitting, the outside seating area is the perfect place to wind down.
