The 4-star Colterscleuch B&B is a newly refurbished Victorian farmhouse. It is set in the heart of the Scottish Borders in the Teviot Valley and feels very rural; however it’s just a 10 minute drive to the town of Hawick. It is the perfect place to relax in the countryside or to use as a base to explore the surrounding areas of Dumfries & Galloway, Northumberland, Cumbria and the Lothians. The Scottish capital city of Edinburgh is only 90 minutes away. All rooms are en suite with a shower over bath and under floor heating. There is tea and coffee making facilities, hairdryer and TV with radio and DVD player in the rooms. All rooms have adjustable heating and opening windows. Wi-Fi is available in all areas of the house and is free of charge. There are shared guest lounge & dining room. Guests also have full access to the surrounding mature gardens. Because there are only three trading rooms, service is personal and tailored to your needs. Breakfasts are a choice of cereals, toast and fresh fruit juices plus hot breakfasts cooked to order. Choose from full cooked, Scottish smoked salmon and eggs or croissants / pastries. Eggs are freshly laid by our hens at Colterscleuch.
